Plum Lake Cabin Rentals

If you're looking for a weekend escape that is close yet far away, Plum Lake is for you.  Plum Lake has a 7-acre fishing lake that is surrounded by trees and wildlife. The fishing is great so bring your tackle. You might catch bass, crappie, catfish, perch, or brim-even a turtle or two!   We have small fishing boats for you to use (included in your cabin rental).  If fishing is not your thing, there's still plenty of secluded relaxation.

The cabins are designed for two people-we are a 'adults only' get-a-way (a great romantic weekend escape).  Each cabin has it's own hot tub. It's outside and secluded.  With your favorite music and your complimentary bottle of wine, you have the perfect setup for a great weekend. To ensure your enjoyment and for the comfort of our guests later on, we ask that you smoke only outside.  Pets and firearms are not allowed.

Plum Lake has a two-night minimum stay.  Advance reservations are necessary.  A first night deposit is required to hold your reservation.  This can be done by check, Visa, or MasterCard.  Our cancellation policy requires a 7-day notice. 

Cabin # 8

Cabin # 8 has two bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen, a large living/dining area, and a porch with a lake view.  Ideal for two couples.  So if you have a couple you like to do things with give cabin # 8 a try.  We also rent cabin # 8 as a one bedroom cabin.  

Cabin # 8 is also suited for a group of ladies that want to getaway for a retreat.

Cabin Rental Rates and Notes:

Weekend nights are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Weekday nights are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

For stays of three nights or more we offer a 10% discount.   

All rates are subject to 6% state tax.

Cabin # 1:

The weekend nightly rate is $130.00 per night and $120.00 for weekday nights.

Cabins # 2 and # 3:

The weekend nightly rate is $145.00 per night and $135.00 for weekday nights.

Cabins # 4, # 5, and # 6:

The weekend nightly rate is $165.00 per night and $155.00 for weekday nights.

Cabin # 8:

The weekend nightly rate is $260.00 per night.  This is the rate when both bedrooms are used.  We also rent cabin # 8 as a one bedroom cabin.  The weekend nightly rate for one couple is $197.50 per night.  Weekdays rates are $10.00 per night less than weekend rates.

Totals for a two night stay on a weekend (Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday):

Cabin # 1  $275.60

Cabins # 2 and # 3  $307.40

Cabins # 4, # 5, and # 6  $349.80

Cabin # 8 $551.20 ($418.70 for one couple).

These amounts do include the 6% state hotel motel tax.

Location:

Plum Lake is located 9.5 miles southwest of Canton, Texas on State Highway 198.  This is midway between Canton and Mabank.  We are about 1-2 hours (65 miles)

east of Dallas.

A note to our weekday guests:

Construction, cleaning, and maintenance are activities that must be done.  So, during the week (Monday-Friday) you may see and hear us working between the hours of 9am-4pm.  When we hire outside contractors to do work, their work times may be different.  We will keep the noise to a minimum.

Tall and big folks might want to consider cabin # 2.  Cabin # 2 has the largest hot tub.

Closed during our off seasons:

We are no longer open year round.  We are closed parts of January, August and September.  For 2013 we will be closed for the following periods:

January 6-31;

August 4-September 14.
